This week has been a very eventfull week.
Monday: I had Commercial/Illustration Photography class. There will be an assignment every week. The 1st assignment is a group shot. I will be taking this on Sunday while working with a group of people for a Comic Book Project. The photos from this project will not be posted at all until it is finished & published. But my class of 16 will at least get to see a group shot from 1 scene.
Tuesday: Large Format class. I was assigned a monorail all manual 4x5 large format film camera for the semester. We went over details on the camera & how we will go about loading film in 100% darkness, as any light at all will ruin the film. Plus we were told we would need a cable release for it & a heavy duty tripod by next Tuesday. Nothing like notice. :)
Wednesday: open shoot day for my Mondays class.. since mine is scheduled on Sunday, I relaxed.
Today: Prime Doc class. Heather's classes are always fun. Most of everyone in there knew others as well, so it made for a nice environment. This class will be field trips every week, starting with a breakfeast place (which i plan to do every week as well). I will shoot the entire semester with a 50mm prime & make weekly blog posts on what we did and a photo.
Also today I ran to Sahara Camera & Caseys Camera stores to pick up supplies. Sahara had the tripod i wanted, cable release, and 4x5 negative protectors. Caseys had the film i needed plus their mounting boards & paper are alot cheaper there.
